Awescode GmbH (Dusseldorf, Germany), a leader in the field of IT development and digital innovation, announces the sale of the Russian segment of its business under the EasyWeek brand to a legal entity in the Russian Federation.
This decision is directly related to the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 and the impossibility of conducting business operations in the Russian Federation for ethical reasons.
The sale agreement includes the transfer of all assets associated with the Russian segment of EasyWeek, including software, customer base and part of the intellectual property: the right to use the brand name, design, logo and the easyweek.ru domain name.
Following completion of the transaction, Awescode GmbH will no longer have a presence in the Russian Federation and will not receive any financial profit from ongoing sales in this market.
